Sometimes we want to return a purchase because we are not satisfied with it or because we changed our minds after making it. So here we explain what to do. We offer some pertinent details regarding Pottery Barn’s refunds, exchanges, and returns. You only need to review Pottery Barn’s return policy and get all of your questions answered.

According to Pottery Barn’s return policy, you can return an item you’ve purchased for a refund of the item’s value within 30 days of the purchase along with the original receipt, or within 7 days for quick ship upholstery items. Our products are delivered in two ways, either:

  • Front Door Parcel Delivery (e. g. , UPS, USPS) to your delivery address.
  • Most furniture and other items that weigh more than the permitted limits for parcel carrier shipping must be delivered by truck; this service typically includes our Premium White Glove service and Unlimited Items for a Flat Rate fee.
  • What does “Unlimited Flat Rate” mean?

For the majority of orders, our truck delivery is subject to an unlimited flat rate fee structure. Products with Unlimited Flat Rate Delivery are clearly identified on the product page.

With Unlimited Flat Rate Shipping, each shipping address can have an unlimited number of eligible furniture pieces and select non-furniture items delivered for a single flat rate. When all of the items in your order are ready for delivery, your order will be shipped.

The premium White Glove Service we offer with truck delivery typically includes unpacking and full assembly of the items before they are delivered by appointment to the room of your choice (installation is not included). How do you deliver furniture?.

The majority of furniture is delivered by truck with our White Glove service, which includes unpacking and full assembly. Items are delivered to your home by appointment to the room of your choice. We are happy to place headboards for beds in their original packaging in any room you choose, but we are unable to open the packaging, check them, or attach them to bed frames that already exist. What does “Quick Ship” mean?.

The “Quick Ship” label on an upholstered item indicates that it is stocked at one of our warehouses and can be delivered in two to four weeks. There is no additional charge for Quick Ship items. For Front Door Shipping, the merchandise total for each delivery address determines the shipping and processing costs. If available, next day delivery incurs an additional charge.
