Unfortunately, sometimes a customer may find that they’ve made the wrong choice and want to return the item. At Sprouts, we understand that this can happen and we want to ensure that our customers are always satisfied. That’s why we offer a generous and straightforward return policy for our products. In this blog post, we will provide an overview of our return policy and address some of the most common questions that customers have about returns and exchanges. Our goal is to make sure that the process is simple and stress-free so our customers can continue to shop with confidence.

Return Policy · Cash/Debit/Electronic Checks: A refund will be made in cash. Receipt reflecting form of payment as cash, debit or electronic check required.

Return PolicyThe type of credit given is determined by the method of payment used. Payments made with:

  • Cash/Debit/Electronic Checks: A refund will be made in cash. Requires a receipt indicating the type of payment, which may be cash, debit, or electronic check.
  • Your credit card or EBT card will be credited with the refund. Receipt and original card required.
  • No receipt will be provided if a check is held for deposit (manual check), a gift card, or both.

Alcohol ReturnsA refund may be granted at the discretion of the store manager. Local laws may vary on alcohol returns. See a store manager for details.

  • During checkout, all legitimate coupons must be displayed to the cashier and have a scannable barcode.
  • We honor additional manufacturer restrictions and have a one manufacturer coupon per item purchasing policy.
  • The product must be exactly as described on the coupon, including brand, size, quantity, variety, etc.
  • If the coupon value is greater than the item’s purchase price, there will be no cash back offered. Customers are liable for the tax on the full retail value, which includes the value of any coupons.
  • All coupons must have a valid PLU.
  • Except where specifically prohibited, Sprouts store coupons may be combined with other Sprouts store coupons.
  • Sprouts store coupons from the internet (print at home) must be printed in order to be accepted.
  • The team member discount cannot be used in conjunction with all Sprouts store coupons.
  • Sprouts only accepts digital coupons from the Sprouts app. Sprouts does not currently accept third party digital coupons. NOTICE: Customers can use a phone number lookup to redeem digital coupons if they don’t have a smartphone or have forgotten theirs. They can also use a printout of their individual barcode to do so.
  • With a valid Sprouts PLU and within the valid expiration period, Sprouts accepts a limited number of digital coupons.
  • From the Sprouts Facebook page, Sprouts emails, and from legitimate manufacturers, Sprouts accepts printed digital coupons (print at home).
  • The majority of digital coupons can only be used once, but occasionally a special promotion will let you use an offer more than once. An icon that reads “Unlimited” in the offer can be used to identify these multiple-redeem digital coupons.
  • On the purchase of a single item, a Sprouts coupon and a manufacturer coupon can be combined.
  • On the purchase of a single item, a paper coupon (STORE OR MANUFACTURER) cannot be combined with a digital coupon.
  • One coupon may be used for the full-priced item during a Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotion.
  • Case discounts can be combined with coupons.
  • When more than one Total Order Discount coupon is used in a single order, our system only applies the largest discount.
  • Discounts from the team may be used in conjunction with manufacturer coupons.
  • For the discount to be activated, all coupon requirements must be satisfied.
  • Sprouts does not accept any expired coupons.
  • Coupons are null and void if improperly scanned, duplicated, copied, scanned, transferred, bought, sold, illegible, illegal, or appear to have been altered in any way.
  • At the time of use, all coupons must be presented and given back. No later refunds or adjustments will be provided.
  • Sprouts does not accept coupons from any other retailers.
  • Coupons are never multiplied – no double or triple-value.
  • For items that are not sold in our stores, Sprouts does not accept coupons.
  • Not all items are available at all stores.
  • Coupon policies may be overridden at Management’s discretion.

CASE DISCOUNT POLICYWe offer an automatic 10% discount on select products when customers purchase an entire case. This discount does not apply to:

  • Items in the Weekly Ad
  • Healthy Savings, or Manager’s Specials
  • Nutrition Bars (Sprouts Nutrition Bars)
  • 24 Packs of Water (Sprouts, Arrowhead, Deer Park, etc.)
  • Vitamin and Body Care Items
  • Promotional and sale items

RAINCHECK POLICYOur raincheck policy is in place to guarantee that our customers can purchase our Weekly Ad items at the sale price when the item is out of stock. Rainchecks can be redeemed within 30 days from the date of issue at any Sprouts location. There is no limit to the amount you can purchase at the sale price unless stated in the original ad and can be redeemed at checkout.

Can you return things to Sprouts?

Does Sprouts accept returns without receipt?

Any media product, including books, DVDs, holiday items, and audio and visual aids, cannot be returned to Sprouts. All alcohol sales are final. Special orders are regarded as final sales, and they cannot be returned or exchanged.
